An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Nymburk. LeaderNymburk faced 4th placed Srsni Pisek . Host Nymburk (7-0) smashed guests from Pisek (4-3) 105-75 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Srsni Pisek. They outrebounded Srsni Pisek 42-25 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nymburk players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Srsni Pisek was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard SirJabari Rice (193-1998, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). His fellow American import power forward Jaquan Lawrence (206-1999, college: LeMoyne-Owen) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Lawrence is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Nymburk players scored in double figures. Swingman Kevin Tyml (199-2001) answered with 17 points and the former international center Adam Kejval (213-2002) added 18 points in the effort for Srsni Pisek. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nymburk have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. Srsni Pisek at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost.
